January gets an A+ so far!
once again … this time of year … i’m sick. not sure what exactly i do each year to make this happen but once again, it’s birthday/trip time and i’m too sick to enjoy it.
it’s been an exciting month so far!
Sharon – signed up for the 10K winterman and 10K Race Weekend. With Greco/kids/life I don’t have time to train for the half this year. So … 10K’s it is! Maybe come Army Run I’ll have more time, but considering my kids are home for the summer … I doubt it. Instead, I’m gonna focus on a fast 10K. Not just a complete. My best yet – 58:44 at the Resolution Run 2011.
Hannah – She’s turning 6 in 2 days! WOW! Is it she’s old, I’m old, or we’re both growing up! The latter for sure. She’s such a little princess. I couldn’t be more proud! She’s generous, caring, sharing, and a smartie pants! Even last night, we hit up Chapters/Starbucks with her presents and she was insistent that we share the gift cards with Jakey and Ella. Also, she completed the Little Reader’s Program at Oxford! WOW! Now she’s moved on to incorporating French and grade school material. Pretty darn cool.
Jakey – He’s a hockey bum now! ALL day/night – hockey hockey hockey! Unreal. Where did my football loving kid go? He’s now 4 and a half years old and seems the same as Hannah. He’s on par with her for size, ability, and almost smarts. They get a long so well!
So Hannah’s 6th B-day party went well! 11 girls – lots of crafts, lots of toys, and lots of manicures! Not to mention the birthday cupcakes were incredible! Then Ella and Olwen stayed to watch the Smurfs movie … Then Ella stayed for a sleepover. This morning Ella, Hannah, Jakey, I, and we picked up Sydney went to Cora’s – YUMMY!
And now that it’s over … I have to start packing. Hard to do when you’re not feeling up to par. However, I know once I’m down in the sun, the cold will go away instantly right? Fingers crossed! I have today/tomorrow/Tuesday to get better. I love a good challenge 
This -26ish weather really isn’t helping at all. It’s so frustrating. I just get mad/angered when I walk outside. Oh well – it’s winter.
So I’ve stepped up my Greco game! Started going to more classes, as well as eating weird meals. I hate to say it but I’m addicted! Sad but true facts. I’m not hitting the scale or Body Fat % machines anymore, now I can just tell. It’s pretty cool! I highly recommend it for anyone!
Also, I managed to organize the plethora of photos I have! I got them all up on Flickr – http://www.flickr.com/photos/onefineandthreebegins/collections/ … I still have more organizing to do but it’s a start. I still have more photos to upload – they are coming … soon … From now on I’m going to be more organized! I promise!
Ok, enough procrastinating, I’m going to pack … later … maybe tomorrow.

that’s so what my house feels like – and i wouldn’t change it! remembering backwards what’s been going down …
sunday – hannah had 5 friends over to make chocolate lolli pops and chocolate chip cookies … 6 girls giggling … and 6 permanent smiles! and, well, 1 HUGE mess. oh well – it was so worth it! however, my Wilton skills are lacking, I’ll have to brush up on them Jakey had his BFF Nik over – the two of them were up, down, and all around the house. after, instead of cooking we dashed to Little Caeser’s and Subway and cheered on Sam Jones (11) in his minor league hockey. we love cheering the Jones’ family members on!
friday/saturday – hannah stayed home from school in the afternoon to help me do errands and get ready for her sleepover and cookie party. i love michael’s! then we picked up Ella and all 3 kids (jakey included) setup their sleeping arrangements for the night. then it was off to the 67′s game with the Jones’. it was the ‘teddy bear toss‘ game – super cute! we all had a blast! and home for all 3 kids to sleep – in the same room
first thing in the morning, once the kids were up, we met the Leclairs for breakie at Cora’s. yummy! i always forget about that place. then a quick trip to michaels for incredibly priced crafts! and finally home for some craft/tv time. the kids were pooped – 11pm bedtime and 7am wake-up – they weren’t moving too fast! made some cookies (thank you bulk barn cookie dough mix) and then before you knew it 4:30pm was just around the corner and Ella was picked up. then it was a lovely quiet night in
thursday – hit my 5 weeks at Greco! yay! down over 5% body fat. pretty cool! i’m pretty pleased with the results. now i’m going to meet with adam and see what my next set of goals are. i celebrated with dinner/dessert with angie at east sides and a snack with my dad at dun’s … yum yum yum!
wednesday – we went over to andrea/brooke’s house for lunch – it was super nice! jakey was in a sour mood and i can’t tell you how understanding andrea was – thank you! met my dad at ms. lee’s that night for dinner – FANTASTIC food! great chicken and veggie in black bean sauce. i was in heaven.
tuesday – while doing abs at greco, i managed to get online and … BUY TAYLOR SWIFT tickets for hannah! she’s going to be over the moon!!!

*we’re off to Orlando jan 25-1 – universal and lego land this year
*jakey and hannah finished a couple more books at oxford this week – so proud of them!

So it’s still surprisingly going well! Meaning life hasn’t drowned me – yet – oh my! I know it’s the busy season, and I’ve learned to expect this madness, but even at that I’m trying to keep up.
I’m still powering hard core at Greco – managed to go 4 times last week and even ran to! This week is my fifth week there which means it’s the big weigh-in/bmi/body fat test. Oh I hope it’s good! It’s getting easier and I can feel my upper body strength a lot more. However, I still can’t keep up to friends who go yet. Give me time … I’m trying
Kids are doing well! Such cute little beings – they are really becoming actual people now – I mean having conversations, helping me, and being totally cute!
Here is Hannah’s Cheerleading Recital: Part 1 & Part 2! She was incredible!

Tidbits:
*Hannah is now working on Alphabet Stew at Oxford (the sequel to Alphabet Soup!)
*Jakey can maneuver the Wii remote now to play Cooking Mama … although he isn’t better than me – yet!
*I might have, well kinda, ok I did book a vacation for next summer !!!
*Signed the kids up for skiing and they are way too excited!
*Off to see a 67′s game this Friday with the Jones’ family & Miss Ella – and after Miss Ella is sleeping over – Hannah isn’t too excited at all … she only mentions it every minute !

quick ‘n dirty .. yeah baby :)
this post will be quick and dirty – which is pretty much my life these days.
i’m on day 27 of Greco. … i never thought i’d be able to say that! it’s been an incredible ride. i feel so much better! i’m sure it’s in my head, or partly, but i can do so much more now – i even did 28 pushups today in a row!! when i started i could barely do 1. take that upper body muscles. the best part – i crave going to classes … i get excited to go! i’ll weigh in friday and see how i’m doing … stay tuned! hardest part – coming up with lots of high protein meals!! there is only so many – eesh.
hannah had a huge moment today at Oxford … she finished her Alphabet Soups! I know if you are reading this and your kids don’t go to Oxford it’s really confusing, but here is the deal – you get the Alphabet Soups when you start to read (basic words/sounds), then there are 5 of them as you go through the learn to read … once you finish Alphabet Soup 5 – it’s an indication that you are a very confident reader – and great at it. Well, Hannah’s done!! And I couldn’t be more proud. However, she’s costing me a fortune with books … she’s at about 50 pages/day – i need a library membership!
now jakey on the other hand – wow – he’s quick quick quick! he’s already on Alphabet Soup 3! and he’s 4. wow. i’m in trouble! he’s reading my phone texts now. … he’s a monkey!
tidbits:
*lots of visits to Chapter’s – kids love to read – i love to buy books – i’m getting a library membership ASAP!
*hannah went bowling with her friend Ella and her family and scored her first strike!
* jakey went to his first Sens game of the year and LOVED it!
*jakey went to this first Binghamington Senators game and LOVED it!
*i dropped 4% body fat – yippee!
*i won all 3 fantasy league match ups last week – double yippee!
*i fixed my bathroom wall all by myself and repainted it!
